Watermelon Market in Temple Terrace Tonight
Friday, July 17th.
Now that Cook Out is open in the area let’s keep the celebrations rolling with summer nights at tonight’s Night Market provided by the Saucy Queen.
At the Yuengling Draft Haus, stop in or hang out at the bar and restaurant as the night comes alive.

I’ve been to other night markets at Yuengling and the otherwise chill and spacious restaurant and bar seriously livens up when an event comes to town.
I appreciate the choice of refreshment and night hour with such hot summer days. Tie that with the difficulty of finding good deals on watermelon means I may have no other choice to pivot plans to this scene tonight.
Now with Cook Out officially open, I might just try that watermelon shake on the way to the market to truly have it all. Check out that drama here.
the Market Tonight. What you should know

From what I could tell I would expect the courtyard at Yuengling Draft Haus to be lit up and to be surrounded by stalls of fun watermelon treats. I also heard that there may be games, contest, and prizes. If you would like more information the flyer lists a contact number 813-299-3600 that you can text.
Also note this event looks like it is put on by Saucy Queen. I couldn’t find too much on them but it looks like they run quite a few events in the Florida. I will definitely be keeping an eye out when I visit.
Speaking of visits…If you haven’t been before, the market if right between the University Mall and the Terrace Park. Another huge landmark you can’t miss is that it’s on the same street of Busch Gardens.
Will you be making it to the market or does Friday night require a different vibe?
Happy Fridays and how we should spend it.
I love a good market. Being outside and surrounded by people always gives me energy. Lately though, after busy weeks, I’ve been craving slower moments. A café open mic recently ended up being the perfect reset. But there’s still something exciting about starting the weekend with a lively Friday night event.
So what about you? When you get off work on Friday, are you heading to a festival or market, or looking for a quieter café or meetup?
Either way my goal is simple: help make our city feel more connected, where free time means spending it with a community you’re excited to be part of.
No more doom scrolling, looking on Netflix for a distraction to pass the time, or outsourcing the beautiful human connection that we are all afforded. No Subscription to entertainment, no pay wall to information, no faceless middle man for connection. These are our rights as community members that we only need to pay in willingness to share and to gather.
So that’s my short soap box spiel but I hope it clarifies why I do what I do just a little bit and why the Watermelon Market may matter regardless of if you like the fruit. See other events on my community page you might fancy!
