Cook out doors are Open.
On July 17th, Cook Out has officially opened their newest location in Temple Terrace.
Originally I was given information from a trusted source to expect the doors to open the previous day at 12 pm. But after just arriving I confirmed it was only open to employees, applicants and orientation at that time.
If you came by in the later afternoon of the 16th then you were the lucky few who was able to “test” Cook out while they ran a test run with staff, only hours after their orientation.
I also came out to be a guinea pig but honestly the food was great and the staff was fast! Comments online shared that there was likely a core crew who came in from out of state to train and handle the grand opening.
So then when can we eat at cookout?
Now. The answer is now. Confirmed with Cook Out’s official staff that since the Grand Opening their hours are from 10:30 am to 4 am.
See the location below.
Are they still hiring?
For those interested, this location is still hiring staff. I spoke to Jess and found that the staff as a whole is very welcoming to top notch workers of many backgrounds.
When inquiring I confirmed that there will be another orientation this coming week on Thursday the 23rd, or Friday the 24th so it looks like this location will still have another wave of hiring!
Bring in an application this week for the best chance to join the team before this restaurant has a full staff.
Never been, what do I expect?
If you have never been, then the menu is the first thing you should get acquainted with. I actually would check it out beforehand becaue the options of what to eat are infinite!
I’m not going to lie to you – it’s staight up confusing to order for the first time so do yourself the favor and read the Cook Out menu now.
Below are some other things to know from my personal experience…
- Expect actual fresh food – Don’t be fooled by it being a fast food joint. Cook Out has a pretty high standard for their quality
- Expect a crazy line – Not only due to location but also Cook Out attracts a line I have noticed in many other states too
- Expect fast service – The line to get served reminds me of Chik-fil-a . While long, staff is incredibly organized and fast. You might feel the pressure to be fast too.
- Expect good flavor – From the test run I can say the burgers are still worth writing home about!
I hope everyone who has been waiting patiently enjoys this restaurant to the fullest. I realized some of us had more questions so I figured to update this post and will come back to keep information correct.
